The Federal Government, 36 States, and the 774 Local Government Councils, along with the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja shared approximately N2.26 trillion as allocations from the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) as revenue for April 2026.
The income was shared at the May 2026 FAAC meeting held in Abuja. A statement from the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation said total distributable revenue comprised distributable statutory revenue of N1.260 trillion and distributable Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue of N747.088 billion, as well as augmentation revenue of N250 billion.
