Nigerian govt. not giving IPPIS grants, loans, AGF warns public servants

Audit Report indicts Nigeria’s Accountant General of allegedly failing to provide evidence for crucial transactions

The Federal Government is currently not giving grants or loans through the  Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS), the Office of the Accountant General of Federation (OAGF) has warned.
In a public statement on Tuesday signed by the Director of IPPIS, Nsikak Ben, the OAGF said its attention was drawn to what he referred to “the antics of some Microfinance Banks registered with the IPPIS to deceive unsuspecting public servants and lure them into unsolicited bank loans.”
