President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of a Chairman for the Board of the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA).
He is Atuonwo Obinna. However, the President renewed the tenure of the Executive Secretary of the petroleum products pricing regulatory agency, Abdulkadir Saidu, for another four years.

(Media and Publicity), Femi Adesina, said Obinna’s appointment as Chairman Governing Board for a four-year term is in accordance with Section 2 (1-3) and 3 (a) of the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (Establishment, ETC) Act 2003.
For years, the agency operated without a formal Board.
