BASSEY UDO
was the foundation Business & Economy Editor of PREMIUM TIMES, Nigeria’s multiple award-winning investigative online newspaper.
Apart from being a former Head of the Business Desk IN THE ABUJA BUREAU of the defunct 234NEXT Newspapers, Udo is a serial award-winning investigative reporter with a specialty in Finance, Energy, Oil, Gas & Extractive Industries coverage.
A 1995 Communication Arts graduate from the University of Uyo, and a holder of the 1999 Master of International Law degree from the University of Lagos, Udo has over 30 years of journalism experience spanning several Nigerian newspapers.
A winner of the Wole Soyinka Award for Investigative Journalism, and the Thomson Reuters Foundation (Wealth of Nations) Award for Business Reporting, Udo is a distinguished Alumnus of the United States International Visitor Leadership Programme (IVLP) 2017.
