Shamsedeen Babatunde Ogunjimi has been appointed the new Accountant General of the Federation.
A State House statement on Tuesday said Ogunjimi, 57, who was first named last December as the successor of the incumbent, Oluwatoyin Madehin who will retire from office on Friday.
Ogunjimi, a 1990 graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in with holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a master’s in accounting and finance from the University of Lagos. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
